In this section, you can set a password that you can later use to protect individual notes. Please note that this password is not used to log into the application, but rather to protect individual notes. You set a single password here, which saves you from having to set separate passwords for each note.

After you set a password in this section, the "Password Protect" option will appear in the note menu.

Unless a password is set, the section appears as follows:

In the "New Password" field, enter your password for your notes, and enter the same password in the "Confirm Password" field. The password length must be at least four characters. If the passwords match, the save password button becomes active.

After clicking this button, a message will appear informing you that the password has been changed.

Once the password is set, the window in this section looks like this:

In this mode, you can change your password or remove it completely.

If biometric authentication (fingerprint, face, etc.) is enabled on your phone, you'll see the "Use fingerprint" option (this option actually uses any biometric). If you don't have this option, it means that biometric identification is not used on your phone.

Change Password

To change your password, first enter your old password. Until the old password is entered correctly, you will not be able to enter a new password. After that, enter a new password, enter it again to confirm, and then click the save password button.

Delete Password

To delete your password, enter your old (current) password. After this, the delete password button will become active (bottom left). When you delete your password, all notes you previously locked with a password will become unlocked. A notification will notify you of this.

Use fingerprint (biometrics)

If this option is enabled, you won't need to enter a password to open a note. You can use the authentication method set up on your phone (fingerprint or face recognition). When you enable or disable this option, you will be prompted to enter your current password.

Note:

If you've forgotten your password, please contact the developer, and they'll send you instructions on how to change it.
